NURI MAHMOUD
Nuri Mahmoud is a co-founder of RI Elite. He coached at the Rocky Hill School from 2012-2019. In 2018 and 2019 they made back to back nepsac finals appearances for the first time in school history. He was a member of the 2008 Classical High School undefeated state championship team, contributing 18 points and 17 rebounds, he then went on to Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Graduating with a double major in Economics and Sociology. His passion and dedication to the growth of our student athletes has been a catalyst for success.
He looks to continue to teach our student-athletes core values such as responsibility, integrity and discipline through the game of basketball.
NICK LIGHT
Nick Light is the Director/Co-Founder of Rhode Island Elite. He played two years of varsity at Pilgrim High School and at Mitchell College from 2011-2013. He is truly dedicated to helping the student-athletes of Rhode Island to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.
He looks to continue to teach our student-athletes core values such as hard work, dedication and responsibility through the game of basketball.
